Hearts of Palm Salad

Welcome to 2023! CONGRATULATIONS if you have used the start of this year to take charge of your nutrition and health. While “detox” powders, potions and pills are everywhere nowadays, please remember that you also have a set of kidneys and a liver which both cleanse and detox you daily.
The best way to help your body “reset” is to increase your intake of fresh fruits and vegetables. Full of fiber and a wide variety of antioxidants and phytonutrients, vegetables and fruits will not only help your body work efficiently, but they will also keep you fuller and more satisfied.
Here is one of my favorite salads! I recommend topping it with grilled chicken or salmon to add some protein and round out the meal. This Lemony Hearts of Palm and Avocado Salad is a fast and easy side salad recipe or make it a main dish with your favorite protein. ENJOY!
