Rehab 2 Perform™ features Doctorate of Physical Therapy trained clinicians who are also Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialists. This unique environment allows interns exposure to evidenced treatment methods of various injuries and conditions. Interns will get the opportunity to observe and participate in the management of clients ranging from youth through adult helping them achieve their goals of maintaining an active lifestyle and returning to competition.

While Rehab 2 Perform™ is a private practice centered around orthopedics our model is far from your typical out-patient clinic. Emphasizing all of the fundamental skills of Physical Therapy, we utilize an integrated methodology of rehabilitation and training techniques designed to help our athletes return to optimal performance in a safe and efficient manner.
In addition, Rehab 2 Perform™ is a practice built on ethical success, in accordance with guidelines set forth by the APTA, including the practice of evidence-based medicine. DPT Students
DOCTOR OF PHYSICAL THERAPY INTERNSHIP AT REHAB 2 PERFORM™
HOW TO APPLY:
For college and university Doctorate of Physical Therapy programs, students MUST apply through their program specific clinic coordinator. If your school does not have a program contact, please reach out directly for specific application and placement information. Due to high demand all potential DPT students are required to go through our application and interview process to ensure a proper fit.

DPT STUDENT PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Objective: Each DPT Student will leave their internship with the ability to demonstrate knowledge and proficiency of R2P methodology including philosophy and science, assessment and program design, technology and tracking, as well as psychology and customer science.
- Opportunity for students to experience a progressive rehabilitation and sports performance training facility with 1-on-1 mentorship with a Doctorate level trained and licensed physical therapist
- Curriculum based learning schedule with weekly learning objectives
- Exposures to evidenced based treatment methods including dry needling, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, manual therapy sport specific and functional based therapeutic exercise and activities.
- 1-on-1 patient care
- Training in return to sport functional testing and decision making protocols
- Participation in community events and local injury risk screening and movement assessment with club and high school teams
- Access to continuing education materials through Medbridge education portals
- Opportunity to grow professionally through teaching undergraduate and high school interns
- Weekly clinical in-service meetings with staff centered on evaluation, treatment, philosophy and methodology

- Scheduled long term projects and daily lessons developed to emphasize certain performance related topics
- Thorough explanation of each patient’s rehabilitation program and goals
- A team approach to your education. It is our goal to jointly assist you in your development as a student and as a clinician
Intern Responsibilities
- Pre-internship reading and R2P requirements
- Shadow and assist physical therapists with day to day tasks
- Professionalism in dress and general appropriate conduct
- Be an active and engaging member of the R2P community
Credentials:
- 3.0 GPA or higher based on a 4.0 system- required
- Major in a Health and Wellness Degree- preferred
- CSCS, CFSC, ATC- preferred
- Desire to pursue Sports Residency and Orthopedic PT career

To be considered, and in order to ensure each of our interns get the most complete clinical experience possible, the below documents must be submitted along with the mandatory inquiry request form.

HIGH SCHOOL/UNDERGRAD PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Objective: To demonstrate knowledge and proficiency of R2P methodology including philosophy and science, assessment and program design, technology and tracking, as well as psychology and customer science.
Undergrad students will have the opportunity to start contributing to a highly progressive sports medicine program. Throughout the experience interns will work with patients to learn and interact with the human body, essentially taking the next step in the careers of sports medicine and physical therapy.
