Rehab 2 Perform Is Coming to Baltimore: A New Approach to Physical Therapy at Harbor Point

Baltimore is a city that moves.
From runners along the waterfront and athletes competing across the city to busy professionals, new parents, gym-goers, and weekend warriors, staying active is part of life here.
Located at 1413 Point Street in Baltimore, the new clinic will serve Harbor Point, Harbor East, Fells Point, Canton, Federal Hill, Downtown Baltimore, and communities throughout the city.
The Harbor Point location marks Rehab 2 Perform’s first clinic in Baltimore City and continues more than a decade of serving athletes and active adults across Maryland and the greater DMV.
But for the clinicians leading it, opening in Baltimore means something more.
Built by Baltimore Clinicians, for the Baltimore Community
Dr. Samantha Dolch, DPT, ATC and Dr. Haley Rykiel, DPT both call Baltimore home. Together, they will lead R2P’s newest location and bring their clinical expertise, relationships, and connection to the city into the clinic every day.
For Dr. Dolch, the opening represents an opportunity to serve the city where she began her career and has built her life.

“After 10 years of calling Baltimore home, I couldn’t be more excited to bring R2P to the city that has given me so much. Baltimore is where I started my career as a physical therapist, built my community, and had the privilege of starting my family. Opening this location feels incredibly special, and I can’t wait to serve the Baltimore community through fitness-focused physical therapy. As a new mom and pelvic health specialist, I’m especially excited to create a space where the women and moms of Baltimore feel supported in staying active, strong, and doing what they love.”
Dr. Rykiel shares that connection to Baltimore and a passion for helping its active community continue doing what matters to them.
“Baltimore has such a vibrant fitness community, and I couldn’t be prouder to call it home. I’m excited to bring my passion for sports rehab to Charm City, bridging the gap between rehab and performance to keep our community active, resilient, and strong!”

Physical Therapy That Looks More Like Training
Walk into Rehab 2 Perform and it does not look or feel like a traditional physical therapy office.
The Harbor Point clinic is being built as an open, gym-based environment designed to get people moving. Patients work one-on-one with Doctors of Physical Therapy using strength training, movement progressions, performance testing, and objective data throughout the rehabilitation process.
The goal is not simply to get someone out of pain. It is to prepare them for what comes next.
That could mean returning to a starting line, getting back under a barbell, stepping onto the field, keeping up with your kids, returning to exercise after pregnancy, or simply moving through everyday life with greater confidence.
R2P’s approach is built around Movement Health, a clinical framework focused on three pillars: Competency, Capacity, and Conditioning. The goal is to bridge the gap between traditional rehabilitation and the actual demands of sport, fitness, work, and life.
Sports Rehabilitation, With More Ways to Support Baltimore
Sports rehabilitation will be at the core of the Harbor Point clinic.
Both Dr. Dolch and Dr. Rykiel bring extensive backgrounds working with athletes and active adults, from navigating injury and surgery to rebuilding strength, restoring capacity, and returning to training and competition.
That shared experience will allow the Baltimore team to provide sports rehabilitation that extends beyond the early stages of recovery. The goal is to prepare each person for the demands waiting for them outside the clinic, whether that is running, lifting, competing, working, or simply staying active.
Harbor Point will also expand how R2P can support women throughout Baltimore through Dr. Dolch’s expertise in pelvic health physical therapy.
As both a pelvic health specialist and new mom, Dr. Dolch brings a unique perspective to supporting women during pregnancy, postpartum recovery, return to running and exercise, and other pelvic health concerns.
That care will exist within the same fitness-forward environment and follow the same philosophy as R2P’s sports rehabilitation approach: understand where someone wants to go, then prepare them for the real demands of getting there.
More Than a Decade of Connection to Baltimore
While Harbor Point will be R2P’s first Baltimore City clinic, Baltimore is not new territory for Rehab 2 Perform.
R2P has spent more than a decade working with athletes, races, universities, healthcare professionals, students, and community partners throughout the Baltimore region. The company also operates nearby locations in Owings Mills and Columbia as part of its growing network across the DMV.
Founded in 2014, Rehab 2 Perform was created around a simple belief: people deserve a healthcare experience that prepares them to perform, not simply recover.
Now, that approach is coming to Baltimore City.
