ANTERIOR STEPDOWN
The Anterior Stepdown (or Reverse Step Up) is an excellent single leg exercise to encourage improvement to the function and range of movement of the ankle, knee and hip joints. This exercise also builds muscular endurance.
This is a great standard to shoot for if you want to prioritize:
• Single Leg Strength & Stability
• Lower Body Resilience
• Running Cross-Training
• Hip, Knee and Ankle Mobility
Our Standards
Athletes - 15 consistent reps on each leg
Active Adult - 10 consistent reps on each leg
*The advanced group is doing these with 25-50% of their Bodyweight in their hands, on their shoulders and/or with a weight vest!*
