Dr. Payne Harrison, DPT
Performance Physical Therapist
Payne grew up as a multisport athlete in Thurmont, Maryland. He began playing football and wrestling in the 2nd grade and continued both sports through high school. He played football at Mercyhurst University from 2016-2020 and graduated with a B.S. in Sports Medicine. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore in 2024. During his final year of physical therapy school Payne completed an 11-week clinical rotation working with the Division 1 athletes at both UMD and UMBC.
Payne has experience working with a wide range of patient populations, including geriatrics, pediatrics, high-level athletes, and everyday active adults. He is passionate about helping his patients return to their desired activities quickly by providing evidence-based tools for independent management. Payne brings a positive attitude to the clinic each day to promote an enjoyable PT experience and instill confidence in his patients as they work towards their goals. Outside of the clinic, Payne is an avid weightlifter, average runner, occasional golfer, and a part-time bartender.
