Colleen Hamman

Colleen was raised in Winchester, VA, where her passion for sports and rehabilitation began. She earned her B.S. in Exercise Science from James Madison University, followed by an M.S. in Athletic Training from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. After practicing as a collegiate athletic trainer, she went on to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Miami.

With nearly a decade of experience in sports medicine, Colleen has worked extensively with athletes across all levels, including collegiate, professional, and Olympic competitors. She began her career as an athletic trainer at North Carolina Central University before serving as an assistant athletic trainer at Texas State University, where she worked with baseball and volleyball teams. While in the Physical Therapy Program at University of Miami, she served as the interim athletic trainer for the Swim and Dive Team, providing care for World Aquatics Championship Medalist and Olympic divers.

After completing her DPT, Colleen expanded her experience as a Minor League Physical Therapist for the Tampa Bay Rays and as a medical provider for USA Diving. She specializes in athlete rehabilitation, manual therapy, and return-to-play programming, with additional certifications in dry needling and movement screening. Passionate about blending education and collaboration, she is dedicated to helping athletes optimize their recovery and performance. Outside the clinic, she enjoys staying active and spending time with her dog, family and friends.
