Dr. Asher Roberts, DPT, CSCS
Performance Physical Therapist / Sports Resident
Asher Roberts was born and raised in Middletown, Maryland where he grew up playing basketball and running cross country. He was introduced to physical therapy after enduring a shoulder injury during intramural sports while at the University of South Carolina. This immediately sparked an interest in the field for him, which resulted in him changing his major from business to exercise science in order to pursue PT as a career.
Asher earned his B.S. in Exercise Science before attending the Medical University of South Carolina to earn his Doctor of Physical Therapy. During his time at MUSC, Asher developed a great interest in sports rehab, completing 2 intensive sports clinical rotations. One with a variety of athletes at EXOS, a world-class performance center in Phoenix, AZ, and the other with the Pittsburgh Pirates during their spring training.
Asher has significant experience working with a wide range of individuals, from active adults to professional athletes, in both the outpatient setting and in the training room. He is passionate about helping people achieve their physical goals. Outside of the clinic Asher enjoys golf, hiking, and surfing.
