Victoria (Dr.V) is a Southern belle who describes herself best as Louisiana made, Texas raised. Growing up as a multisport student-athlete, she spent plenty of time in the athletic training room. Those experiences sparked her curiosity about a profession that could help people from all walks of life and ultimately led her to pursue a career in physical therapy ( PT).

Victoria earned her B.S. from the University of Central Arkansas, where she competed as a Division I track and field athlete in the 400-meter, 800-meter, and 400-meter hurdles. Nearly a decade later, she still holds the school record in the 400-meter hurdles. She then went on to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Samuel Merritt University (SMU) in Oakland, California. During her time at SMU, Victoria served as the California State Chapter President of the California Student Special Interest Group (CASSIG) for PT and PTA students from 2024–2025. She also represented PT Moves Me via American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), introducing youth to the profession through hands-on experiences and empowering them to see the possibilities available to them.

As a former D1- athlete, Victoria understands the physical, emotional and mental demands of training and rehabilitation. She believes movement truly is medicine and strives to help every person leave feeling better than when they arrived. During her time at R2P in Bethesda, Victoria found the PT environment she had always envisioned, ultimately leading her back to R2P, a place that felt like home.

Outside of the clinic, Victoria embraces a “forever athlete” mindset and enjoys playing or learning new sports, serving her community, attending church, reading, cooking, and planning her next vacation with family and loved ones.
