Performance Physical Therapist

Dr. Zoé Six, DPT

Dr. Zoé earned her bachelor’s degree in kinesiology with a concentration in exercise science from East Tennessee State University. As a Division I triathlete, she competed for four years and helped her team secure a 3rd-place finish at the 2018 NCAA National Championships. Her experience in endurance sport sparked a strong interest in biomechanics as a way to optimize performance and reduce injury risk.

She completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at the University of Maryland, Baltimore in 2025. During her doctoral studies, Zoé was actively involved in professional organizations, serving as Director of Communications for her school’s chapter of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists (AAOMPT) and participating in the American Academy of Sports Physical Therapy (AASPT). These experiences reinforced her commitment to evidence-based practice and collaborative patient care.

Zoé enjoys working with endurance athletes—particularly triathletes, cyclists and runners—but is equally passionate about supporting athletes from all backgrounds and experience levels. She emphasizes individualized assessment, functional strength training, and thoughtful movement retraining to help patients return to the activities they love with confidence and resilience.
