Dr. Sina Gartner DPT, CSCS, PSL2
Performance Physical Therapist
Born and raised in Rockford, Illinois, Dr. Sina Gartner has participated in athletics her entire life. She raced cross country through high school and college and now competes as a nationally ranked powerlifter.
Her own battles with injury molded an unbreakable philosophy: the best clinicians do not just treat pain, but listen deeply, honor ambitious goals, and design recovery paths that keep athletes moving forward—never forced to the sidelines. She meets patients where they are and refuses to let injury become the final word on what is possible.
Sina earned her Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Human Nutrition from the University of Illinois and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Franklin Pierce University in Goodyear, Arizona. A pivotal clinical rotation in Australia crystallized her calling to specialize in high-performance sports rehabilitation.
Since graduating, Dr. Gartner has pursued advanced certifications including Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), dry needling, postural restoration, and Pre-Script Levels 1 & 2 coaching. She has coached weight training classes for high school cheerleaders and Special Olympics athletes, as well as worked extensively one-on-one with powerlifting clients. She also has experience treating a wide range of individuals, including barbell athletes, gymnasts, basketball players, first responders, and everyday fitness enthusiasts.
For Sina, rehabilitation is never a generic prescription—it is a deeply personalized journey that integrates movement, mindset, and lifestyle. Her mission is to empower patients to stay active in the sports and pursuits they love, recover intelligently and safely, and return stronger, more resilient, and ready to surpass previous limits.
Outside the clinic, you’ll find her working toward new PRs, exploring hiking trails, or getting lost in a good book.
