Dr. Lucas Vinci, DPT
Performance Physical Therapist
Growing up in Jersey City, NJ, Lucas was involved in a variety of sports throughout his childhood. In high school, rugby became his primary focus until a recurring injury introduced him to physical therapy. What began as rehabilitation quickly evolved into a passion for human movement and performance. Lucas earned his B.S. in Kinesiology from Manhattan University and went on to receive his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Rutgers University. During his time at Manhattan, he trained students and student-athletes in weightlifting through the Kinesiology department, where he developed a strong appreciation for teaching, leadership, and helping others build confidence in their physical abilities.
Through his clinical rotations, Lucas’s passion for sports and performance-based physical therapy continued to grow. From those just beginning their journey to competitive athletes, Lucas has experience working with high school, collegiate, and active adults. Having witnessed a broad spectrum of care, from lackluster to inspiring, Lucas understands the difference an engaged and present therapist can make in a patient’s recovery. He hopes to be that difference for his patients, empowering them to become the best version of themselves. Outside of the clinic, Lucas enjoys boxing, weightlifting, and the great outdoors.
