The Concussion Clinic is a unique outpatient service of the MedStar National Rehabilitation Network that offers highly specialized services for people suffering from the lingering—and often life altering—results of mild traumatic brain injury (TBI). Dr. Norman Godwin

Dr. Norman ‘Trey’ Godwin is a physiatrist who specializes in Sports Medicine at Adventist HealthCare Rehabilitation. He is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and Sports Medicine.  Dr. Godwin uses a multidimensional approach tailored to each patient, for the treatment of their musculoskeletal conditions, which can include arm, leg and back problems. Dr. Matthew Jepson is a Primary Care Sports Medicine physician at  Mid-Maryland Musculoskeletal Institute (MMI). Dr. Stacy Suskauer

(Kennedy Krieger Institute)

Dr. Stacy Suskauer is a research scientist at the Kennedy Krieger Institute. She is co-director of the Center for Brain Injury Recovery at the Institute. She is also an associate professor of physical medicine and rehabilitation and pediatrics at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Suskauer’s primary research focus is understanding and optimizing outcomes after childhood brain injury, including concussion.
