Dr. Brooke Mawery, DPT, OCS, CSCS, C-PS
Performance Physical Therapist
Originally from the foothills of the Adirondacks, Brooke obtained her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Health Studies followed by her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Utica College. Following graduation, she began her career working at a privately owned outpatient clinic in the Adirondacks where she furthered her passion for outpatient orthopedics and sports rehabilitation.
Moving to the Finger Lakes 11 years ago, Brooke furthered her career, continued to expand her knowledge of orthopedic physical therapy, and built a life in an area and community that she loved. Along with obtaining her Doctor of Physical Therapy, Brooke has continued to expand her skillset as an orthopedic and manual therapist, obtaining board certification in orthopedics (Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, or OCS), as well as becoming a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), and a Champion Performance Specialist (C-PS), while actively continuing to take progressive/evidence-based manual therapy courses in pursuit of a Certified Mulligan Practitioner (CMP) and Run Coach certification as well.
A lifetime athlete in a variety of sports, and having rehabbed several injuries herself, Brooke was drawn to the nature of orthopedics and sports rehab. She enjoys the dynamic nature of orthopedics and sports rehabilitation and enjoys watching clients recover and return to their highest level of function.
Brooke recently moved to the Annapolis area with her 3 dogs. When not at work, Brooke is an avid runner/marathoner and hiker, and enjoys spending time with her dogs and competing in a variety of performance events with them. She is eager to explore her new area and see what it has to offer.
