POSTPARTUM FITNESS ASSESSMENT: WHAT IS INCLUDED?
what will take place...
60-minute one-on-one assessment with a licensed physical therapist specializing in postpartum recovery.
During your session, we will:
- Complete a subjective intake to understand your delivery, healing, current symptoms, and exercise goals
- Assess Foundation: breathing, core, pelvic floor, and scar mobility
- Assess Ground: lower body and upper body strength, single-leg balance, load tolerance
- Assess Impact: dynamic control, hops, bounds, and low-level running or movement as appropriate
- Identify readiness with a 'red', 'yellow', or 'green' score in each domain to progress your performance with safe guidance
