Dr. Meghan Harrington, DPT
Performance Physical Therapist & Pelvic Health Specialist

Meghan was raised in Clarksville, Maryland. She first became interested in physical therapy following her own experience as a patient during middle and high school, ultimately recovering from a hip surgery at the end of high school. She attended the University of Maryland College Park, earning her B.S. in Kinesiology, where she completed internships with the Sports Medicine and Athletic Training department as well as working at a variety of PT clinics. Meghan went on to receive her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, completing her final clinical rotation at R2P’s Mt. Airy location.
Meghan began her career as a PT in Denver, Colorado, treating a wide range of athletes and weekend warriors. In Colorado, Meghan furthered her appreciation for the role that recreational activities play in fitness as she spent her free time active with hobbies like hiking, camping, learning to ski, playing tennis and pickleball, and working on her golf game. Meghan was first exposed to pelvic health and pregnancy and postpartum care during PT school and developed a passion for treating this population early in her career. She believes that fitness is for everyone, every age and every level, and that the pregnancy and postpartum periods are no exception. Meghan went on to specialize in pelvic health physical therapy and has completed coursework in both Pelvic Health and Obstetric Physical Therapy under the American Physical Therapy Association.
Meghan utilizes education and empowerment to meet her patients where they are and help guide them to reaching their goals. Outside of the clinic, Meghan enjoys spending time with family and friends and staying active with weightlifting, hiking, golfing, and skiing (although she prefers skiing the Rockies!).
