Broad jumps should be a part of a training routine for Runners, Athletes and anyone in HIIT style workouts or CrossFit. A single leg version ensures we are training our legs in isolation and hopefully improving individual ability from each leg, a must for athletic movement!

This is a great standard to shoot for if you want to prioritize:

• Horizontal Power Production (May help for Sprinting!)
• Lower Body Elasticity
• Overall Posterior Chain Development

Our Standards 

  • Athletes - Able to jump further than half your height on each leg
  • Active Adult - Able to jump further than a third of your height on each leg
  • Getting back into it? Shoot for repetitions in place that are NOT maximum effort before attempting to move!
