Dr. Heather Roseman, DPT
Performance Physical Therapist
Heather was born and raised in Westminster, MD. She left Carroll County to earn her B.S. in Kinesiological Sciences at University of Maryland and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Shenandoah University, where she earned an award at graduation for her performance on her comprehensive exam. After graduation she returned to Westminster, where she lives today with her husband and two children. Heather is currently trained in dry needling and specializes in trigger point referral patterns and injury prevention in youth athletics.
Heather attended South Carroll High School, where she played basketball and softball. Her love for softball runs deep, as she spent a great portion of her childhood on the field with her dad- both watching him play and having him as her assistant coach with his infamous "keep your chin up" saying. Heather played softball until she started coaching her daughter Alaina on the field in 2021. She is planning to begin coaching her son Zach in basketball over the winter 2024 season.
Heather is passionate about injury prevention in youth athletics and integrates her physical therapy knowledge into her coaching to reduce risk of injury for her athletes. She became the co-commissioner of the Charles Carroll Softball Organization in the fall of 2024, where she is growing an organization based on becoming "brilliant at the basics". Through coaching, her goal is to empower the girls by teaching them how to take care of their bodies (emphasizing both physical and mental wellness) and helping them develop a winning mindset.
