DR. ERIC CHAU, DPT
Performance Physical Therapy
Born and raised in Hingham, MA Eric was an avid athlete playing soccer, basketball, golf, wrestling, and snowboarding throughout the New England area. While earning his B.S. in Exercise Physiology at UMass Lowell, Eric was fortunate enough to work and learn alongside leaders of the sports performance and rehab world at Mike Boyle Strength and Conditioning, Pallof Physical Therapy, and Parisi Speed School. Through these experiences, Eric traveled north to the beautiful mountain landscapes of University of Vermont to earn his Doctorate of Physical Therapy. There he was able to gain further experience working as a personal trainer for campus recreation along with completing clinical rotations at Rebound PT, Rehab 2 Perform (Bethesda) and NYU Langone.
Eric is a Certified Functional Strength Coach (CFSC) who has worked with numerous athletes ranging from youth, high school, collegiate, and weekend warriors. He is passionate about equipping patients with the necessary tools to boost their confidence, optimize performance, and help them reach their goals to perform beyond their imagined capabilities. Eric is excited to begin his career working alongside the Rehab 2 Perform team in Germantown to help educate and empower the community through his knowledge of physical therapy, strength and conditioning, and sports performance.
