Head Athletic Trainer | Northwood HS
A graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Courtney earned her Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training and minor in nutrition. She continued on at IUP to earn her Master’s degree in Sports Science Sports Studies while being a full time GA for football, women’s basketball and women’s tennis.
Courtney brings experience spanning from professional sports on the world stage with Team China Women’s Lacrosse, Athletes Unlimited pro lacrosse and NAHL hockey leagues. As well as, several DII collegiate settings and numerous high schools.
Courtney has had a love for fitness and athletics her whole life. She grew up competitively swimming and coaching. Courtney is passionate about helping others and considers it a part of her fabric. The athletic training profession has helped her put these passions to use every day. The fact that she can play such a major role in the success of an athlete (on and off the field) really drives her to always go above and beyond.
Over the course of the past few years Courtney has developed and educated high school and youth athletes on the importance of strength and conditioning as related to their sport. Courtney loves the science behind fitness and is always incorporating the latest evidence into her rehabilitation and treatment of athletes injuries.
