Athletic Trainer Services

Athletic trainers are Nationally Board Certified, Licensed Allied Healthcare professionals that work in collaboration with physicians in a multitude of settings focused on sports medicine. Athletic trainers provide preventative services, emergency care, clinical diagnosis, therapeutic intervention and rehabilitation of injuries and medical conditions.  They focus on educating and communicating effectively with athletes, parents, coaches and physicians, and help facilitate a safe environment for the athlete to recover and return to play at their highest potential.

Rehab 2 Perform currently provides sports medicine coverage and athletic training services at St. John’s Catholic Prep which encompasses: on-field medical care, quick access to the necessary medical care in the event of serious injury, and concussion screening and post concussion care.  The Athletic training staff has the benefit of working alongside the orthopedic and sports medicine physicians they refer to, physical therapists, and sports performance specialists. Services Rehab 2 Perform provides includes:

  • Athletic training services for athletes and programs at the high school level
  • Education for high school athletes, parents, coaches, administrators, physicians, and other healthcare providers in care and prevention of athletic injuries
  • Concussion Management Program – baseline testing, evaluation, treatment, rehab, and management of mild traumatic brain injuries that assist the athlete to safely return to play
  • Free injury risk assessment screenings to student-athletes
