Our mission at Rehab 2 Perform™ is to help reduce the risk of re-injury in athletes while developing athletic potential and performance. In partnering with MEVC, we strive to provide a service that not only includes in-person training, but also extends into a full digital experience. We want to ensure that we are providing our athletes with as much information and supplementation as we can to help support their training endeavors into higher level athletics and beyond. About Dr. Paula McCorkle
Paula was a 3-sport athlete in high school, and a 4-year volleyball starter at Leechburg High School near Pittsburgh, PA. She continued on to play at the collegiate level at Allegheny College, where she primarily played middle and right side. After completing her collegiate volleyball career, Paula chose to pursue a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Pittsburgh in 2019. While at Pitt, Paula found a passion for strength and conditioning, earning her CSCS and training clients at a Pittsburgh gym while in graduate school. Currently, Paula works at Rehab 2 Perform™ in Germantown, MD as a Performance Physical Therapist and has been competing in powerlifting for the past 3 years. One of her biggest passions is to empower female athletes to use strength training as a way to become stronger, both physically and mentally.
